Dr. Kathleen Wilson completed her graduate training in Clinical Psychology at the University of Windsor.
Her master’s and PhD research focused on how to best measure coercive and controlling violence in intimate partner relationships, with the hope that better assessment might lead to earlier identification and support for survivors.
Throughout her clinical training, she worked with individuals across the lifespan in several settings, including hospitals, private clinics, university mental health centres, an emergency shelter for women and children escaping domestic violence, and a detention centre for justice-involved youth. In the final year of her training, she completed her residency placement at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health.
Dr. Kathleen is registered as a Clinical Psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.
She works with children, adolescents, and adults facing a wide range of mental health conditions, including various forms of anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and other challenges.
She provides trauma-informed and culturally responsive services that are guided by psychological research. She strives to create a compassionate, collaborative, non-judgmental, and authentic therapeutic space where you feel comfortable showing up as you are to explore all parts of you.
Services are offered through the Bond Wellness Clinic in Oshawa as well as virtually across Ontario.
